Salary: £25,584 - £27,269 JG4
Actual Salary: £23,452 - £24,996 - 11 months per year contract
Ravenswood is an all-age Special School for pupils with complex needs. This includes pupils with severe learning difficulties, communication difficulties and autism.
We are seeking to appoint a Site Supervisor to join our committed and enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will be committed to maintaining a safe, tidy and pleasant environment for our pupils. We are particularly interested in appointing a Site Supervisor with a range of DIY/grounds maintenance skills, who can access the school within 30 minutes for any emergency call outs.
We also require the Site Supervisor to liaise with contractors, monitor compliance actions and arrange remedial works. To ensure routine H&S actions and inspections are carried out and act as responsible person for asbestos and legionella.
Weeks employed – 48 weeks per year.
Not working 2 weeks when school closed for Christmas break and not working middle 2 weeks in August.
Holidays arranged within the 48-week work period, to be agreed with the school. Contract includes 20 days paid leave.

Work Pattern:
Term-times: There is flexibility to negotiate hours or indeed if the right candidate would like to work split shifts.
Example; School term times
Monday to Friday: 07:30 to 16:00 with 30 mins lunch break.
Example; Split shift
Monday to Thursday: Split shifts: 07:30 to 12:00 and 15:15 to 18:15
Friday: Split shifts: 07:30 to 11:30 and 15:15 to 18:15
School holiday times: There is flexibility to negotiate the actual times.
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 to 16:00 (with half hour lunch break)
Friday: 08:00 to 15:30
